Jamaal has emerged in the world of creative visuals as an imaginative and consistently evolving Imagineer. With no formal training or teaching, Jamaal creates with a deep rooted love for visuals, tones and atmospheres that strongly resonate in and through subjects that find themselves on the opposite side of his talent. Raised in a variety of cities across the vast United States and South America,

he offers a piece of that vastness in his work and is known for constantly combining his other passions (such as music and poetry). With beginnings in self-taught musicianship experiments turn photographic expression dating back to 2006, Jamaal produces timeless visuals and instrumentation across the spectrum of creative genres and types that explore the roots of the core emotions that are common to all of us. He has noted that his job as a photographer and a musician is to "Inhale" the the moments and experiences and "exhale" an interpretation of those frozen emotions, producing memories that are nothing short of timeless.

First Looks between spouses are always sweet - and I recommend our couples to do one every time(for various reasons) However, first looks between Father's & Daughters - now that's something special. Especially for us, as witnesses.

This moment wasn't planned; but I pushed a tad for what I knew they would cherish for years to come.

Yawl.
We still got a whole 2months+ left in the year and I have accrued 11 wedding galleries + 16 Wedding videos to tackle, all within the last 2 months. That doesn't count all the engagement sessions & Misc events that need to be edited either.
Saying thjis wedding season was a doozy doesn't even cover it.
That being said...the year isn't out but I want to give the team flowers while they're here and it's fresh on my mind and heart. Couldn't do this year without you guys/gals:
& Cheers to for getting another passport stamp and shooting a dope conference in the process!!

What are weddings really about? What are we there for? As photograohers/videographers, we talk about the services we can do for you. Immortalizing the moments in time with the people you hold most precious. However, we never talk about what's in it for us, the emotions we go through as we invest and experience your love, with you. The love, honor, and admiration we feel just being able to be present in a love. Sometimes, like with Genevieve & Steven, it's a reminder of what kind of love we aspire to emulate and sometimes these vows make us grab napkins because sheesh.
Either way - we're not just here for the coin. You're not just another couple to us, our legacies are tied with yours, now & we're just happy we get to be a stop on your journey.

Not too long ago I was able to tag along with my bro & colleague one of his engagement sessions. My goal was to capture him in his element, and give a brief insight into what it's like working with such a intricate and creative mind.
His clients can attest to the aforementioned, and more.
This is a bit of a passion project, of sorts. Bits and pieces of documentary work giving insight into the circle of colleagues I get to call friends. It could expand; I'm sure it will, but for now, it is. Here's a photo of him before .vash fattened him up. *chuckle*
