I was really hoping to do a whole bunch of editing this week, but i do not have a good connection!! I'm going to have to work really hard over the weekend to get my senior previews out so I can finish up the wedding next week!! So much to do and I decided to take a vacation with a bad connection!!

On August 1st I had the esteemed privilege to photograph my 1st wedding in almost 6 years! Johannah & CJ are the sweetest couple, who just so happened to have graduated with Owen in 2022, and the Groom was a theatre kid at FHS (that is how I landed the gig after all). It was so much fun to get my feet in this game. I have been toiling over what to give them as a preview and settled on a simple selection of images. I can't wait to deliver this full album for the couple, but I thought I would share this little taste with my own audience. Thank you To both of them for asking me to be a part of their big day!

I went to the Rice County Fair on a quest for a super cool editorial Faris wheel photo. I did not get that, but I did take a lot of picture that I thought were fun! We watched my friend Paula do her fire dance, and i definitely got some great photos of that!! Ran in to some friends, ate lots of yummy fair food, and just enjoyed the nice comfortable evening before the weekend got super HOT!!! Maybe we don't have the most celebrated county fair in the area, but I this they did pretty good keeping it fun this year! Thanks Rice County Fair!!

My sweet friends Mason & Hazel Ran for the Rice County Fair Rice County Ambassadors Program this year so I made my way down to the fair on that very warm Sunday to support them and their family. With it being the 50th Annual there were several other participants that I know who were in attendance! It was really fun to see those who were crowned before in addition to my young friends who ran this year. Congrats to all of the contestants on representing our communities in Rice County!! Cortney Swedin, I hope you all enjoy the photos. I hope they both know that it takes a lot to be a leader and run for something like this, win or lose!

Took the cameras, and my lovely assistant, Morgan out shooting a wedding on Saturday!!it was so much fun!! I dont think i want to do one every weekend, but I wouldn't mind it once in a while!

I want to send a HUGE shout out to Chelsea Fedora for capturing these wonderful production photos for us. I LOVE shooting production photos, but i could not have used a better stand in then you! It took many many hours to edit all of these and then to come up with only 80 favorites of the nearly 500 images that are in the album, was even tougher!! I hope you will all enjoy this glimpse into The Addams Family Musical presented by the Paradise Community Theatre at the Paradise Center for the Arts July 2026!

Because I didn't actually shoot the production photos for The Addams Family Musical, I only edited them. I have to post 2 separate albums. I will start with the back stage fun photos I took with my Nikon D40 just for fun. It's a 22 year old camera, that does not handle low light well, but it produced some really cool images across the board. I also took backstage photos with my Fuji Film HS50EXR (11 year old bridge camera). I have so much fun shooting these older camera, and I got some really fun shots!! So I hope you will enjoy a little sneak peek at life backstage at the Paradise Community Theatre!!
