One of my favorite things as a photographer is when families have me come to their homes and everyday lives for sessions. There’s just something about being where all of your family memories are made that feels so special to me.

And everyone should be so proud of me—I didn’t freak out or squeal when they brought the chickens out… 🤣🫣🐓

Found some beauty in the small things this week. 🦋

Fun fact: My love for photography started when I was in elementary school. I loved getting disposable cameras and taking pictures of sunsets, animals, etc. I’d develop them and send some to my grandma, who was an avid lover of sunsets and truly anything I photographed (because let’s be real, grandmas are some of our biggest supporters no matter what). 😉

Sometimes it’s fun to just slow down and photograph some of the things I’ve always loved—and enjoy the beauty within them. 🤍

I always adore getting to have this family behind my camera, even if the littles aren’t having it. 😉🥰
