Sometimes the magic is in seeing the possibilities. ✨

What started as a photo of an entire group of dancers became something completely different when one perfect moment caught my eye.

A little creative vision, a lot of editing, and suddenly a performance photo becomes a piece of art. ❤️

Swipe to see where it all started!

Which do you prefer—the original performance moment or the dramatic fine-art edit?

I’ve always had a soft spot for a good black and white photo. 🖤

As much as I love playing with warm tones and dreamy colors, sometimes I find myself drawn to something a little darker, moodier, and more cinematic.

I love how taking away the color can completely change the feeling of an image. It lets the little moments, the connection, and the emotion tell the story.

And honestly? I think a little drama can be a beautiful thing. 🎞️✨

Now I’m curious… are you drawn to the warm, colorful, dreamy edits, or do you love a moody black and white moment as much as I do? 🖤

Tell me in the comments! 👇

🌻✨ A little golden hour magic, with a moody twist.

Who says sunflower photos have to be all sunshine and smiles?

There’s something so beautiful about the moments just before the light disappears. Deep shadows, golden petals, soft pink skies, and a little bit of mystery.

I love creating images that feel like more than just a photograph. Something cinematic, a little unexpected, and uniquely you.

Because sometimes the most beautiful stories are told in the shadows. 🖤

🍂 AUTUMN PORTFOLIO MINIS 🍂

I’m looking to add more cozy, colorful autumn sessions to the Perrott Creative Studios portfolio, so I’m offering a limited number of minis at a special portfolio-building rate!

📍 Caledonia State Park
📅 October 11 & October 17
⏱️ 20-minute sessions
💵 $75 ($25 due at time of booking, $50 due day of)
📸 8–15 professionally edited digital images

These are perfect for families, couples, kiddos, maternity photos, updated portraits, or anyone who just wants a few beautiful fall photos this year. Think cozy layers, warm neutrals, earthy tones, denim, boots, and all the autumn texture. 🍁

🩰 Dancers — this one is for you too! The scenery at Caledonia would make such a beautiful backdrop for dance portraits. Bring a favorite costume, dress, or dancewear and we can mix posed portraits with movement shots for something a little different from your traditional studio photos.

There’s something so special about the bond between a mother and her son. 🤍

He’ll keep growing, changing, and becoming more independent, but moments like this are the ones you wish you could hold onto forever.

The little kisses. The tight hugs. The way he still fits right into her arms.

These are the moments worth remembering. 🌻

If you’ve been meaning to update your family photos, consider this your little reminder that the everyday love is worth documenting too. 🤍

My favorite galleries are never just “pretty pictures.”

They’re a mix of portraits, movement, connection, and the little moments you probably didn’t even realize I was capturing. 🌻

That’s always my goal — to give you photos that feel like your family, not just photos of your family.

If you’ve been thinking about updating your family photos this fall, I’d love to get you on my calendar. 🤎

A little love story, growing by two tiny feet. 🌻🤍
Golden light, sunflower fields, and the sweetest season of waiting.

These little details are always some of my favorite things to capture. ✨

Which one gets you more — the tiny shoes or the sunset kiss? 🥹🌻

Okay, but HIS SMILE. 🥹🌻

Sometimes the best part of a family photo is the little bit of personality that sneaks in. 🤍

Are you a smile-at-the-camera family or a give-me-all-the-candids family?

Some of my favorite images are the quiet, in-between moments like this one. 🤩

When I photograph children and families, I never take the privilege of sharing those moments lightly. I will always respect your boundaries, ask permission before sharing, and honor your preferences when it comes to your family’s privacy.

Your photos are yours to enjoy first — sharing them is never more important than your comfort.

Your memories. Your choice. Always. 🖤
