🎉📸 ONE YEAR OF THROTTLE THEORY MEDIA 📸🎉

One year ago, I decided to take a chance and start Throttle Theory Media. What began as a way to combine my love of racing and photography has grown into something I never imagined, and that's because of all of you.

To everyone who has supported me this past year—whether you've purchased photos, shared my posts, recommended me to your friends, stopped to chat at the track, or simply followed along on this journey—thank you. Every bit of support has meant more than you know. Building something from the ground up is scary, and there have been plenty of moments where I questioned myself. Your support is what kept me going.

This anniversary is a little bittersweet because for the first time this season, I'm missing a race weekend. And of all weekends, it's at my favorite track. Not being there to see the racing, catch up with friends, and capture all the action is definitely tough. The race community has become such a big part of my life, and I'm going to miss seeing everyone this weekend.

But we'll be back at the next round, and I want to celebrate this milestone with a giveaway!

As part of celebrating, I'm sharing some of my favorite photos from the past year. Honestly, there were way too many great moments to choose from, and narrowing them down was nearly impossible. These are just a few of the images that stood out to me and remind me why I love doing this so much.

This post makes me really sad to make, but I will not be at the race this weekend. I’ve been having some car issues and driving that far doesn’t quite make sense right now. I’m sure there will be so many other amazing photographers there and I can’t wait to see the pictures!

Gold Rush Photos Are Posted! 🏁📸
They’re up a little differently this time (and I think I might be missing a few from the mini ATV race — I’ll have to figure out where those went).

👉 All ATV photos are in one album this time — it’s not a huge batch, just the minis and a limited number from a few of the other ATV races.
👉 All bike photos are also in one album, which includes minis and adults.
👉 Plus, Sunday STACYC pictures are posted too!

Since this was the last points race, and I’m not sure what the Buddy Race will look like for me, I wanted to take a moment to say a HUGE thank you to the entire NECXC track crew.

This was the first season that Luca and I really entered the racing world, and every single person has been unbelievably kind and helpful from day one — from the very first race where Luca spent over an hour “racing” and I walked the entire 2-mile track looking for him 😅, to the countless crashes (too many to pick which one was the most epic), all the way to our last points race of our first season where he decided one lap was plenty… until mom made him go back out and finish. 💪

No matter what, NECXC has the best track crew, the best check-in crew, and the best people all around. We can’t thank you all enough. Even though I know I didn’t manage to get everyone in photos, I tried to capture at least a few of you from this last race to showcase you — the people who make all of this possible, the ones working before, during, and long after every race that we never even see.

Thank you to the entire NECXC crew for an incredible season! ❤️🏁

📸 Maniac Mountain Weekend Update!
I was out snapping pictures Saturday and Sunday at the races. Unfortunately, adult ATV coverage was cut short after I took a couple of big rocks to the leg (I’m okay! 🙌 but had to take a break). I also hopped in to race the pit ATV class myself, so no photos there this time.
On Sunday, we had to head out early for the boys’ soccer games, so I only caught minis and a few shots of the youth bikes.

Finally back to racing! 🏁 It feels like forever since the last one, and I don’t know how we’re going to make it through winter break with no NECXC races!

We could only make it down Saturday (two of the boys had soccer on Sunday), so this round is all ATVs.

🧡 It was also an Orange Day — if you noticed bikes decorated in orange, it was to show support for Caison, who’s fighting leukemia. So many racers and fans were rocking their shirts too.
