One of the best parts of being a teacher is getting to watch these kids grow into their own over the years, and Kayleigh is certainly no exception!

From band and powerlifting to everything in between, I've had the opportunity to watch this young lady grow so much over the past four years. Seeing her confidence shine through and that beautiful smile on her face throughout our session was pretty special!

And we can't forget her bestie, Karla! She was along for the entire adventure, coming in clutch with the hair assists, laughs, and everything else we needed along the way. Those two have such a sweet friendship, and I loved getting to see it firsthand!

Kayleigh, I'm so glad I got to capture this chapter of your story. Keep smiling, girl! It looks pretty darn good on you!

The Ross Family!

I've lost track of how many years I've been photographing this crew, but they're definitely some of my longtime Sandhill regulars!
Six kiddos, six different personalities, and somehow it all just WORKS! Every year, we pick right back up where we left off, have a few laughs, and get some pretty great pictures along the way.

These days, I get to see Ace on the regular since he's a freshman on my XC team, which means I get to see a little more of the Ross crew throughout the year, too! But there's still something pretty special about getting everyone together for our annual session and seeing just how much these kiddos have grown!

Thanks, Ross family, for another fun evening and for letting me document these kiddos growing up year after year!

The Hillman Family!

One of the things I love about having families come back year after year is getting to watch their kiddos grow. And goodness, these Hillman boys are growing up! This crew is always a hoot to work with! A little time in the barn, a few four-legged photo bombers, and plenty of laughs made for another fun session.

Cross Country, Football, Basketball, Track & Field... Josh stays pretty busy! And if you know him, you know that smile is almost always accompanied by a little bit of ornery!

We had a beautiful evening for his senior session, plenty of laughs, and a pretty good helper tagging along! Our session also happened to coincide with the OU/Texas game, so naturally, we had to catch the final minutes. Those reactions were too good NOT to capture!

From the cross country course and track to the band room, this Mooreland senior has a little bit of everything going on!

Lily is one of those girls who doesn't need to be the center of attention to leave an impression. She's kind, thoughtful, and has a smile that can light up a room.

We had a beautiful evening for her senior session, and even managed to sneak in a few pictures with one of her best friends!

A little sneak peek from Karla's senior session!

Between band, powerlifting, and everything else that comes with senior year, this Mooreland senior stays plenty busy!

But beyond all of that, Karla is simply a beautiful soul. Her sweet personality, genuine smile, and easygoing nature made this session such a joy. She's every bit as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside, and I think these images capture that perfectly!

Pando Family | Story Session

A little peek at tonight's Story Session with the Pando family... Easygoing, full of smiles and so much fun together. These girls are simply radiant, and you can certainly see where they get it from.

Lots of laughs, sweet sister moments and a family that just genuinely enjoys being together. Such a beautiful crew and an equally beautiful evening to capture them.

Jackson is anything but shy, and it didn't take long for that personality to show up during his senior session.

He's got a quick wit, a mischievous sense of humor, and a knack for keeping everyone around him in stitches. Getting the serious pictures is possible... keeping him serious might be another story.

From shooting sports and FFA to football and baseball, we packed quite a bit of Jackson's senior year into one evening. But I think my favorite part is that no matter what we were photographing, that grin and personality kept sneaking right back in.

And really, that's exactly what senior pictures should do. Capture all the things that have been part of your story, while still looking a whole lot like you.

If it's outdoors, Xander is probably right in the middle of it. Hunting, trapping, fishing, running, shooting... and now...

If it's outdoors, Xander is probably right in the middle of it. Hunting, trapping, fishing, running, shooting... and now flying.

He's an accomplished trap shooter and distance runner who represents Mooreland FFA, Cross Country and Track & Field pretty darn well. After graduation, he plans to take another passion even further and pursue a career in aviation.

And when I say outdoors is just part of who this kid is, I mean it. During his senior session, he casually reached into the water and pulled out a snapping turtle. Just reached down and grabbed it.

But that's Xander. This is also the same kid who finished racing AND his team cool down at our home cross country meet, then headed straight to the pond and landed a pretty nice bass... while runners were still going by.

There really couldn't be a more fitting way to document his senior year.

Family sessions look a little different when the kids are grown... and I am absolutely here for it.

This one was actually the girls' idea. Three grown sisters decided they wanted pictures together and Mom got pulled into the plan. And from there? Pretty sure the laughter could be heard clear across the lake.

We got the pretty pictures, plenty of sister shenanigans, Mom right in the middle of it all, and before we were finished, they even hopped in the lake for a few.

Family pictures don't have to be all about little kiddos. Sometimes the kids are grown, everyone's lives are busy, and simply getting everyone together is reason enough.

Every season of your family's story is worth documenting. Especially the really fun ones.
