I remember when I first started photography I wanted to photograph anyone and anything.
But as time went on, I realized something super important…

Who I work with makes ALL the difference in how much I love what I do. And here’s what I realized:

I don’t want to work with everyone.
And honestly, I don’t want just anyone to hire me.

I want to work with the people who get it.

So, here’s my unofficial client checklist:

Laid-back, can joke around and take a joke, let’s their kids be kids, actually interacts with their kids during their session, loves candid photos with some posed ones mixed in, is ok with chaos, would rather have fun than spend the whole session worrying about getting the “perfect” picture.

The dog is running around, the girls are skipping across the beach, and all you can think about as the parents is, this is what life is all about 💕

Some of these photos were prompted but a large majority of them were just happening naturally while the family interacted with one another. And thats what its all about! You don’t have to act a certain way around me. Show up as yourselves. Bring your crazy. Im here for it all and promise to create some magic no matter what!

The level of commitment it requires to photograph outdoors this year is unmatched. Someone explain to me why EVERY SINGLE radar gets it wrong each and every time 🫠🫠

This years Fall Mini’s are here and I can’t wait to share them with you all🍁🍎

Last year was all about chasing colors and sunsets and this year is all about chasing convenient timing for parents & fun adventures!!

October 17th - meet me at the apple orchard in Fredonia, WI to spend the evening enjoying time with your family picking apples! 🍎

October 18th - this one’s for the families whose kids wake up early and don’t stay up late enough for sunset sessions! If you’re wanting updated family photos in West Bend, WI and love the idea of a morning time slot then this is for you! 🍁🍂

Details: $275, 20 minutes hanging out together, 5 edited images of your choice, turnaround time of 2-3 weeks, print release and online print store

Yeah we get it that most senior props are picked from your favorite sports or hobbies…but your dogs deserve to be recognized for putting up with you through your teenage years! Give them the shoutout they deserve 😂

Someone booked a session with me this week, but before she even entertained the idea, she asked me if I was good with dogs because she has two and she wants them in the session.

Then I realized I don’t share often enough how much I love dogs! So here’s my spiel for you:

I have two dogs (one springer spaniel & one pit lab mix), my husband and I (although my husband just went along with it 😂) rescued 6 dogs from Texas in 2021. Three of them are part of the family and the other ones we fostered and found great homes for!

I also worked with Texas Rescue Riders as a foster for a while and at one point had six puppies in our home along with our two dogs. It was chaos 😂

Anywho…I love dogs. So yes, your fur babies are welcome ❤️🐶

This summer has been filled with some amazing senior sessions! I don’t know how I got so lucky, but every single senior has been so much fun to work with and they’re just absolutely beautiful people both inside & out.

And as much as I love bragging about my amazing seniors, I need to send out a little reminder that due dates are right around the corner. That means that if you want to get on the calendar for your senior photos, NOW is the time to do so!

If you are in the West Bend, Sussex, Jackson, Cedarburg, Grafton, Menomonee Falls, Brookfield, Waukesha, Milwaukee, or surrounding locations and you still need senior photos done…I still have some availability left! Shoot me a message for details 💌
