-I am blessed to be able to share a passion of mine with others.

I love to capture people's favorite moments and memories so that they can keep them forever. We get so caught up in our day-to-day lives that we forget to step back and recognize and appreciate what we have and what we have accomplished. I believe that photography is a way to do that. I try to capture not only precious moments in my pictures, but also the emotions and personalities of the people i

n them. The truly great things in life cannot be seen; love, God, friendship, peace. My goal is to capture moments in life not only through sight by simply taking pictures, but also through the feelings and emotions presented in them. When people look at my work I want them to not only see it but feel it, too. That is the idea behind the name, “Not By Sight Photography.”

Halen was born with a congenital heart defect. On March 29th she will be having her third open heart surgery at Ochsner in New Orleans. There are also three other kids in her household. Her parents will be traveling to New Orleans and staying with her for two weeks while still having to make sure the other three kids get back and forth to school and make sure they are fed and taken care of. To help take away some financial stress I am holding a raffle for Halen’s family! For $20 you’ll be entered to win a one hour photo session with a minimum of 50 images. The winner will be chosen on March 19 so the family can receive the funds to use for the procedure and everything that comes along with that.
