We spent many hours hiking in the snow and frigid temps searching for wildlife. I always search nooks and crannies hoping for an owl and I finally found this beauty!

This is George. Every morning, she waits by the door when Chuck and I leave for our walk. Today, she greeted our return enthusiastically!

Today, Chuck had a blast hunting for unseen critters under the snow. I always wonder how the moles or voles or mice feel when she comes crashing into their snow tunnels.

It’s so cold today! This little guy was looking in the window longing to come in. He kept tucking his front paws up to warm them.

I was so fortunate to get up close and personal with this in the Daintree. It’s an intimidating and gorgeous creature. Only about 4,000 remain in the wild.
