Morning Twilight comes
Window open to night air
She feels his heat against her
Sleeping still but his need growing
Her body responds in kind
Her hands guide him to her
Pulses quicken as needs deepen
Her hands on his chest, his in her hair
Bodies pressed as desire mounts
Their release in a flood of echoes
Scents of passion and lilies fill the air
Souls in a desperate embrace
In the thinning veil of morning light.
