Senior Session Truth. Sometimes the best senior photo location is the place your family keeps returning to.

For Luke, that was Glacier.

And seeing my son there as a senior felt like one more Montana memory before everything starts changing.

Tonight’s session has been months in the making. We tried May… too cold. Tried June… too cold again. Third time’s the charm, and August delivered exactly the vibe Danika and I dreamed up. 🌭🥤

She styled everyone perfectly, we brought in the golf cart, hot dogs and brats, glass Coke bottles, animal crackers, chicken in a box… every nostalgic detail you could think of. Full send on the 80s theme.

Owen and Harper and Chewy brought it. The dogs even made a few cameos. And that pool… it’s brand new and looks like an infinity pool built right into the deck. Ryder’s best friend’s family, captured exactly how they deserve to be remembered.

So grateful for Danika’s vision and for a family who went all in with us. This is why I love what I do.

Sneak peek video from tonight, and honestly, this family made August worth the wait.

After months of rescheduling around cold weather, Danika’s family finally got their night. BBQ, glass Coke bottles, golf cart rides, trampoline time, the new pool, the dogs, and Owen and Harper being completely themselves.

And because Owen is Ryder’s best friend, this one felt extra personal.

Stay tuned for the photos. They’re going to be so good.

Aiden’s senior session at Glacier National Park 🏔️

We explored the woods, climbed around on rocks and, obviously, stopped for ice cream. 😂 Aiden was so easygoing and fun to photograph—and that smile made my job pretty dang easy.

The boots were forgotten.

So the plan changed.

We photographed one outfit in Glacier, then finished Turner and Isabel’s session by the Flathead River Dam with smoky skies, hazy light, and the sweetest Kendra Scott detail.

And honestly, I think the change made it even better.
