The calendar says September 1st, so in my mind… it’s officially fall. 🍂🤎

Never mind that it’s still 100° outside. 😂 I’m ready for cozy, cool evenings, warm tones, and all the magic that comes with this season, which means I’m SO excited to offer Fall petite Sessions!

These will be held in a beautiful field at our property in Wilmer, AL. (This field actually has more trees than pictured, but will still be absolutely beautiful!)

These sessions will be perfect for families, couples, kids, and anyone wanting to capture a little piece of the magic of fall. We’ll of course capture those classic portraits, but it’s the little moments in between, the laughs, snuggles, and genuine connection, that truly feel the most special to me.

Give me a cowgirl mama with her horse and baby any day! This summer I had the pleasure of attending The Woven content day hosted by the fabulous Andrea | Hattiesburg Newborn & Family Photographer

It was the most fun day surrounded by other fabulous photographers getting to create together. Andrea put together the most dreamy shoots for us but if you know me then you’ll know I was most excited for this one!

I’d been looking forward to this sweet boy’s arrival ever since we captured his family’s pregnancy announcement! It feels like just yesterday we were telling sweet Ella Kate she was going to be a big sister, and now her baby brother is finally here.

Getting to document this family’s journey from maternity to their Fresh 48, and now their newborn session has been such an honor! Being trusted with life’s most precious moments truly means the world to me.

I already can’t wait to see him again for his six month milestone! ❤️

I’ve been wanting to use this beautiful muscadine vine in my yard for a session, but I just hadn’t had the right opportunity. Friday night, on a whim, I posted that I was looking for a model for Saturday since I actually had the evening free!

In my mind, I pictured a maternity session with a toddler so when Carly reached out, I knew she was the perfect fit!

She arrived to the studio and I had a variety of gorgeous dresses for her to choose from with coordinating outfits for her daughter. Within minutes, we were out shooting, and the location turned out to be every bit as dreamy as I’d imagined!

But here’s the thing, this session wasn’t “perfect.” The sky was cloudy when we started, the Alabama heat had us all sweating and sweet Miss Ellie had absolutely no interest in being held, she wanted to run, explore, and do things her way!

And yet...look at the magic we created!

It’s such a good reminder that beautiful photos don’t require perfect conditions or perfectly posed children. Sometimes the most meaningful images come from embracing the chaos, trusting the process, and letting families simply be themselves. Those are the moments that tell your story and those are the moments worth remembering!
