Maligne lake is the largest, naturally formed, glacial fed lake in the Canadian Rockies. The Indigenous Peoples of Canada were the first to discover this lake, and they often visited during the summer months to hunt and gather food. The lake is also a place of great spiritual significance. They named it both “Lake of Deep Waters” and “Lake of Healing”. The isthmus known today as Spirit Island (pic2) is a site still visited by First Nations people.

There's no doubt that Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom is breathtaking. But looks can be deceiving this castle is more like a fortress. Although the exterior appears to be made of stone, the shell of the building is actually made of fiberglass. That's because the dreamy home was built to withstand hurricanes, and can fend off winds up to 125 miles per hour. Beautiful and Strong isn’t it 💙🏰
