I am a city girl at heart, who has an addiction to J.Crew and Kate Spade. I’m proud to be from Detroit (Go Tigers!), and it will always be the place I call home no matter where I am. My taste in music basically consists of Taylor Swift albums on repeat, and I have a crazy, unhealthy love for donuts. I’m a newlywed and I just adore my husband even though he says I laugh at my own jokes a little too much. I am unashamedly a crazy dog lady, and my Golden Retriever Stella is my best friend!

Mara and Kyle’s wedding weekend began with the prettiest late summer evening in Delaware. Their welcome party was relaxed and effortless, with all of their favorite people together before the celebrations officially began. It was one of those warm August nights that felt like summer was holding on just a little bit longer. The sweetest first glimpse into everything that was still to come that weekend.🤍

A day that felt every bit as joyful as it looked…full of bright summer color, their closest family and friends, and two people who were just so incredibly happy to be getting married. There was such an ease to the entire day, and you could really feel how important family was to both of them throughout every part of it.

From all the colorful details, to the sweetest ceremony overlooking the water, to Kerri and Atreya making their exit by boat (truly the most perfect Northern Michigan moment!!), it was one of those days that was just so much fun to photograph.

The best ending to the most amazing weekend celebrating these two. Still not over this one, and I have a feeling I won’t be for a while.

From an intimate rehearsal dinner to the most perfect welcome party at the Inn at Bay Harbor. Kerri and Atreya welcomed all of their favorite people to Northern Michigan for the start of such an incredible weekend. The evening was filled with lake views, the prettiest summer details, and so much excitement for everything ahead. Truly the kind of night that makes you wish you could do the whole weekend all over again. And we were just getting started. 🤍

We started Kerri and Atreya’s wedding weekend in Petoskey with an intimate rehearsal dinner surrounded by their closest family. 🤍

It was relaxed, personal, and centered around the people who mean the most to them. The kind of evening that felt less like the start of a wedding weekend and more like everyone simply getting to be together before all of the celebrations began.

Such a special start to the weekend, with so much more to come.

I’m so excited to be partnering with DWR to transform a cozy office corner in our historic home! 🤍

I recently visited their beautiful new store in downtown Birmingham, Michigan, to browse for furniture, and it was such a fun experience. I love mixing modern and traditional pieces to create spaces that feel timeless and collected, so seeing everything in person was incredibly helpful.

One of the design associates helped me find the perfect desk size for the space and even created complimentary 3D renderings so I could visualize how everything would come together before making any decisions. (A little reminder that their design services are complimentary, which is such an amazing resource if you’re working on a space!)

I can’t share the final reveal just yet, but I cannot wait to show you how this little corner comes together. Stay tuned!

Some wedding days have a way of slowing everything down.

Danielle & Sean chose to celebrate surrounded by the people who matter most, in a place already filled with years of family memories. It wasn’t about creating a big production…it was about creating a day that felt meaningful, personal, and completely true to who they are.

The vibrant summer florals, the handwritten vows that definitely brought on the tissues, the long dinner tables filled with conversation, and an evening spent celebrating under the Michigan summer sky... every part of the day felt so thoughtful and intentional. More soon!!

Randi & Brian chose to have a destination wedding in Telluride for one simple reason: they wanted to celebrate in their favorite place, surrounded by their favorite people.

And somehow, that made everything else feel secondary.
Just as they began reading their private vows, the skies opened up over the mountains. By the time their ceremony began, flash floods were rolling through Telluride. It would’ve been so easy to let the weather define the day... but that’s not who these two are.

Not once did they lose sight of what mattered most. They laughed, embraced every unexpected moment, and married each other with so much joy.

The best part? Rain has always been woven into their story, so somehow it felt fitting that it found them again on their wedding day.

And then, just when we thought the mountains had shown us everything, the clouds parted and Telluride gave us the most breathtaking sunset before one unforgettable celebration.
