Last night was absolutely •magical•!

The sun set so perfectly in fort fisher and this absolute firecracker 100% stole the freaking show!

First of all, her dress 😍
But the way she wanted to show me all of her own poses and moved the rest of the family aside to get “just one more photo of me” - it was everything and all the things!

Hi!
Welcome to my brain in the middle of summer!
It is 10pm and I have completely forgotten to post one singular photo all day!
Social media is increasingly harder to keep up with while I am entertaining 3 kids all day, intermittently editing everywhere I go, and traveling all over for shoots every day.
I don’t typically get home until about 9 or 10 pm and my nights continue well past that getting out sneak peeks and editing away.
If you see my limited postings on social media - please interact with them in some way! Don’t let Facebook forget I exist!

Here are some beach facts for everyone!

1. There is rarely any significant shade on the beach.
2. Every tiny weather detail can change the look of a session daily.
3. There will always be some wind at the beach - some days will be worse than others.
4. The sand and the water will always be more exciting for your kids than our photos.

And the most important fact :
5. I cannot control any of these.

So, what does that mean?
It means that if you choose me as your photographer, you know that although I cannot control these elements - I have spent years learning, practicing and perfecting how to deal with them ♥️
