My sister is organizing a team to walk in a walk-a-thon (as you do) to benefit Cystic Fibrosis in honor of my cousin, Matt who had CF. My Aunt Marti, always said he was her ray of sunshine, a concept which served as my inspiration for the team logo.

Drawing inspiration from photographic works by David Hockney who, in turn, drew inspiration from Picasso and Braque and the Cubist movement in general, I created these compositions in an effort to achieve a kind of representation of 3 dimensional object on a 2 dimensional medium. Anthony Lowe pointed out to me that if I was photographing moving subject it would also introduce a 4th dimension, that of time and its passage. Some work better than others. These are some of my betters works.

Amy's Story

I spent hours meticulously making specific color selections, adjusting those selections and filling the selections with a single color… HOURS! Imagine my chagrin a few short years later when, with the use of a few different filters, one could achieve a similar effect in just a few minutes. *sigh* Don't stand in the doorway, don't block up the hall.
