This past weekend was a big first for me 🥹📸

I did my very first official photoshoot, and it was for my aunt's 40th birthday! What an honor to get to capture such a special milestone for someone I love.

We laughed so much, made some sweet memories, and I learned a lot along the way. Are there things I want to improve? Absolutely. Every photographer starts somewhere, and I'm excited to keep learning and growing with each session.

I'm really proud of myself for stepping outside my comfort zone and just going for it. You can't get better if you never start.

Here's to many more photoshoots, more memories captured, and continuing to chase this dream one click at a time. Thank you to everyone who believes in me and supports this journey. It truly means the world.

Yesterday was all about celebrating the man who makes this life so special. ❤️

Watching Shane be a father is one of my greatest blessings. He works hard, loves his family fiercely, and never hesitates to show up for us. Whether he’s coaching from the sidelines, playing ball with the kids, fixing things around the house, or simply making us laugh after a long day, he gives his whole heart to this family.

Our babies are so lucky to call him Dad, and I’m so thankful I get to do life alongside my best friend.

Father’s Day isn’t about gifts or big celebrations. It’s about taking a moment to appreciate the men who lead, love, provide, and make their families feel safe and cherished.

Happy Father’s Day to the best daddy our kids could ask for. We love you more than words can say. 💙

And looking at this picture, my heart is full. This little family we’ve built together is everything we ever dreamed of and more. 🫶🏻🏡✨

A dear friend once told me, “When you find what you’re meant to do, it won’t feel like you’re working your life away.”

I’ve thought about those words a lot lately.

College hasn’t come easy for me. I’ve never been much of a paper writer, and there have definitely been tears along the way. But here I am, still showing up, still pushing through, and making A’s. That’s something I’m really proud of.

As a stay-at-home mama of two busy kids, life doesn’t slow down very often. Between sports, family time, homemaking, and everything else on my plate, finding time for school can be a challenge. More times than I can count, I’ve worked on assignments from the ball field, in the car, or wherever I could squeeze in a few minutes.

But I’m doing it.

Every class brings me one step closer to learning more about art and photography, two things I’m genuinely passionate about. For the first time in a long time, I can see the path ahead, and I’m excited for where it’s leading.

Life isn’t always easy, but it’s ours. I’m so thankful that Shane and I took control of our future and chose to build a life that feels right for our family.

We’re living dreams we once only talked about.

And the best part? We’re just getting started. ❤️📚📸
