Senior year has a way of sneaking up on us.

One minute they’re little boys riding bikes through the neighborhood, and the next they’re talking about graduation, careers, college, and what’s next.

I’m currently looking for a few hardworking young men from the Class of 2027 to represent Odem through my Senior Spotlight program.

Whether he’s involved in FFA, athletics, agriculture, leadership, welding, the outdoors, or simply proud to be an Owl, this experience is designed to celebrate who he is during one of the biggest years of his life.

For years, Lilley has been focused on the next game, match, show, practice, or season. Growing up alongside three older sisters involved in athletics, cheer, and livestock showing, she developed a love for competition and a strong work ethic at an early age.

When Lilley’s mom first reached out to me, Lilley was away at camp enjoying summer before another busy season begins. Between volleyball, basketball, tennis, cheer, livestock showing, academics, faith, and family, she’s rarely standing still.

As a coach’s kid, hard work, dedication, and teamwork have always been part of her story. Whether she’s competing on the court, representing Orange Grove through FFA, showing livestock in the ring, or excelling in the classroom, she approaches everything she does with determination and pride.

But Senior Spotlight isn’t just about accomplishments.

It’s about taking a moment to slow down, celebrate the journey, and preserve the memories before the next chapter begins.

After learning more about Lilley’s story, it was easy to see why she was selected to represent Orange Grove through the Amanda Joyce Photography Senior Spotlight Class of 2027.

I’m so excited to help capture this special season and celebrate all that she has accomplished—and all that’s still ahead.

Class of 2027 Moms…

What is your senior doing this summer? ❤️

Every year, I watch it happen.

Summer starts, and everyone is excited for senior year.

The camps.
The workouts.
The trips.
The plans.
The countdowns.

And somehow, before anyone is ready, it’s over.

These girls were known as the Fabulous Four.

I took these photos before graduation, but looking back at them now feels a little different. The college shirts became real. The plans became reality. The chapter they spent years writing together came to an end.

What gets me is that there are seniors all over South Texas living this exact season right now.

They’re heading to their last summer camps, their last workouts, their last church trips, and their last summer before everything changes.

If you’re a senior, don’t rush it.

And if you’re a parent, take the photos.

What has been on my heart for quite some time is finally becoming a reality.

These incredible Class of 2027 students are helping launch the very first Amanda Joyce Photography Senior Spotlight experience across South Texas.

Each Senior Spotlight was selected to represent their school, celebrate their accomplishments, share their story, and create memories that will last long after senior year is over.

This isn’t about competition. It’s about recognizing students who lead, serve, participate, work hard, and take pride in their schools and communities.

I am so excited to watch these students grow throughout the year and can’t wait to share their stories with all of you.

This Mathis Pirate has been interested in joining the Amanda Joyce Photography Influencer Team for quite some time, and I couldn’t be more excited to officially welcome her!

Aubrie is involved in FFA, golf, and powerlifting, and when she’s not representing her school, you’ll likely find her working hard at her part-time job at Van’s. Her dedication, responsibility, and strong work ethic make her a perfect fit for TEAM27.

As she prepares for her senior year, Aubrie is excited about her future, exploring college opportunities, and making memories with the people she loves most. I can’t wait to help celebrate this exciting season of her life and tell her story throughout the year.

✨ PLEASE HELP ME WELCOME YULIANNA TO THE SENIOR SPOTLIGHT! ✨

Tuloso-Midway, let’s show Yulianna some love! ❤️💛

From the moment I spoke with Yulianna and her mom, I could tell this young lady has a heart for leadership, school pride, and making the most of every opportunity.

Known by many as Yuli, she has been a cheerleader since she was little and loves everything that comes with being a Warrior. From Friday night lights and homecoming to the traditions that make senior year unforgettable, she is already looking forward to making memories that will last a lifetime.

Yuli is competitive, determined, and always willing to work hard for what she wants. Whether she’s leading through FCA, serving her school through organizations like NHS, NTHS, HOSA, and Latino Student Union, or participating in her church youth ministry, she believes in being involved and making a difference.

One thing that became clear during our conversation is that Yuli loves being part of something bigger than herself. She enjoys encouraging others, celebrating school spirit, and setting an example for the younger students who are watching her journey.

I am so excited to celebrate Yulianna’s senior year and share her story throughout the year.

WELCOME, BROCK! 🙌

Please help me welcome our very first Yorktown Wildcat Senior Spotlight Guy, Brock Puente! 🐾

Brock is the kind of young man who makes a community proud.

As Yorktown FFA President, a state-level competitor, livestock exhibitor, and leader among his peers, he’s already building a legacy of hard work, responsibility, and determination.

Whether he’s showing swine, working with commercial heifers, competing in livestock judging, earning 5th Place in State Tractor Tech, or helping lead Yorktown FFA, Brock represents everything that makes small-town communities strong.

You can usually find him on a ranch, in the barn, or under the hood of a truck—always working toward his next goal.

What I admire most is that Brock has big plans for his future while never forgetting where he came from. His dream is to one day return home and build a business of his own right here in the community that helped shape him.

I’m honored to have Brock representing Yorktown High School as part of our Senior Spotlight Class of 2027 and can’t wait to help tell his story throughout his senior year.
