For my women’s psych class , I was assigned to perform a service that helps women in some way .

I knew that everyone would be thinking of cisgender women, and in reality the most important part of helping women is including all women.

This is Quinndalyn Oom, she graciously volunteered to model for me, for my project .

The goal was to help her feel beautiful,comfortable, and like herself .

We took these photos at frog island park, which is where she came out for the first time .

This concept of helping people ( specifically LGBTQ+ people ) feel their best is a theme im looking to somehow make a career out of .

Here is how Quinn felt after the shoot

“In the end this experience was not just a moment. It was a process of realization and evolution. It helped me find myself and bring it out in preparation for the shoot. It gave me the desire and encouragement to build confidence and put myself on display. The shoot itself was a wonderful experience and a great reward. The process, the journey, to get to the shoot, was beyond value. These pictures will forever guide me on my journey and strengthen my resolve. As one might assume, my stance is, this experience is recommended, it is revolutionary and beyond valuable. It is something that people need and don’t know they need. It is transformative”
