It's been nearly a week since we got the news. I was waiting to share images as I just kind of absorbed the shock, but I saw that Matt had already shared the 3 images I created for KylieStrong over the years. She's been my Snow White, my Elsa, and my Zoey (KPop) all that time. I think the worst feeling was seeing she was only days older than my Sebi. I had believed deep down she would pull through even after the family updates. I couldn't imagine otherwise. Still, I'm glad I was convinced to be part of So Many Angels years ago so I could have her even slightly in my life for a little bit. Continue to keep her family in your thoughts.

Tomorrow is the day! It looks like we have 13 kids ready to be photographed tomorrow and I can't wait to create some incredible fantasy portraits for them

It's that time! I am hosting a So Many Angels event on August 8 as part of larger event with Zach's Toy Chest called a A Summer's Night with Santa

If you don't know what we do, we're looking for any kids under 18 years who are battling or survived cancer so we can create a fantasy portrait for them. We've had some donations and can always use more, but right now we're looking for kids to be photographed. Please share this with any family you know who has been through this and would benefit from seeing their kid be a kid again. Please come with your own costumes, and if you need one, check out our So Many Angels registration form for a group who can help you get one. After the event, our artists will work on creating personalized portraits for each of the kids who sign up. We will be in touch on when the reveal session will be to receive your canvases!

Zach's Toy Chest will provide a kid-friend dinner and dessert, a Santa for photo-ops, games and more. So Many Angels will have a room there for our part of the event. We both need your registrations filled out in advance so we can plan and accommodate all! And they're FREE.

Had an awesome week-long class with Scott Detweiler Scott Detweiler on AI and organizing my life, business, and creating tools for myself. If you know me, you know I question everything, especially new tech and its ethical concerns, and Scott is open to answering anything there. I'm already cleaning up things that are busy work, but again, I'm about Human Connections, and now I can get back to relationships and partnerships beyond the mindless tasks that were hanging over me.

I urge you to meet Scott, who is waaaay ahead of the curve on this tech and a brilliant mind. And he's just fun to hang out with. I know he thinks the same of me, I just know it...

Sigh. I’ve been seeing all the fake, AI-generated "Met Gala" photos taking over your feeds this week. And honestly, it’s a cool trick... but it's just a trick.

What’s missing from those fabricated images is the part that actually matters: The Experience! The feeling of stepping into the makeover chair with my amazing HMUA. The confidence that builds as you see your best features highlighted. The laughter and connection shared with us in studio as you get dressed up, listening to your favorite playlist. It's amazing to see my clients' light up with actual feelings of being seen and celebrated like royalty.

You can’t generate that inner glow with a prompt.

These two women are the real thing. Both had the real makeover, the real dress-up moment, and the real-life red carpet experience. Why settle for a generic AI version of "you" when we can create a piece of fine art that documents the beautiful, confident, real woman you actually are?

I’ve shared a lot of high-glam looks recently, but this session was all about the joy of the celebration.

Adryin Bajerski Glynn is the go-to for interior design here in Wake County, and while we created some incredible marketing images, the best part was watching her just be herself in the moment.

As a designer, Adryin has a keen eye for color and texture, so we had a blast playing with different backgrounds and patterns to match her energy. Her smile absolutely lights up a room, and seeing her let loose and enjoy the makeover process was amazing.

She spends her days transforming houses into homes that people love to live in. This time, we focused that creative energy on her. She’s built a beautiful business helping others find their style, and she’s certainly earned this moment to celebrate her own.

Beyond the Headshot
This is what I call the "Get to Know Me" look, the kind you see in a magazine write-up. Angela booked a session for herself and her daughter as they run Noteworthy Reporting Services , offering coverage for local and nationwide court reporting.

She is the one professionals turn to when the record needs to be perfect. So when she stepped in for a session, we weren't just looking for a "nice photo", we were looking to capture the presence of a woman who has spent the time mastering her craft and leading her team to the top of their field.
