I have always cherished the season of burning fields in Vietnam, especially here in Hoi An. To me, this is the season that stirs the most profound thoughts, perhaps because of the ethereal wisps of smoke and the silhouettes of farmers emerging through the dense haze.
The colors of nature are a vivid tapestry, blending with the dark, ashen tones of the burning straw and stubble. The sunset hues of late summer and early autumn paint the sky with a nostalgic warmth that tugs at the heart.
Everything seems to drape in a cloak of memories, evoking a deep sense of longing. Watching the scene unfold, I am reminded of the past, of people and moments that once were, and of a version of myself that lingers in the echoes of this season.
