Colour by the roadside.
From Junee to Cootamundra there are yellow and purple fields scattered all over the hilly countryside. These bright beautiful colours can be seen far off in the distance and close to the road. Here are a couple of close ups. Which one do you like better?

Fields of gold...
Driving into Junee and seeing the bright yellow fields has been amazing to see with my own eyes! These canola crops are in bloom for about three months of the year and will soon be gone. Get out and see them before they disappear!

A nice start to our weekend away, visiting a beautiful part of NSW we hadn't been to before. We stopped along the road to take photos of this brightly coloured field, when farmer (we shall call him) Joe pulled up and asked if we were ok. We had a chat about farming and he told us he had poisoned this field last year but it all came back. Paterson's curse is the lovely purple colour you see here but it is actually a w**d toxic to livestock.
