"I had been waiting in complete stillness for hours inside a remote photo hide in rural Spain. The sun was beginning to dip and with it, my hope. Then, without a sound, from the edge of the forest, a young Iberian lynx appeared. Silent, alert and breathtaking.

For a few suspended seconds, it stood just meters away, eyes fixed on a rabbit beyond the hide. But what struck me wasn’t the hunt, it was the stillness in its stare. A quiet strength. A kind of innocence wrapped in instinct. I pressed the shutter, barely breathing, knowing this moment would vanish as suddenly as it came. Seconds later, it vanished back into the trees, as if it had never existed.

This image is all that remains - a fleeting encounter with one of Europe’s rarest creatures, reborn from the edge of extinction. To me, this young lynx is more than a predator. It’s a symbol of resilience. Of wild beauty returning. Of everything we still have a chance to protect and save."

I'm deeply honoured to have my work featured in the Prints for Wildlife campaign this year, with my image of a young Iberian Lynx (‘Guardian of the Wild’).

For me, photography isn't just about capturing images - it’s about creating hope and contributing to real conservation impact. I’m truly grateful to the founders of this unprecedented movement - and and the whole Prints for Wildlife team for the opportunity to help protect the wild that still remains.

What's it all about?
Over 200 photographers are coming together for one of the largest fundraisers for wildlife and nature conservation in the world. By purchasing an exclusive fine art print for 125 USD you can support wildlife and communities in more than 100 countries around the world through the non-profit

Prints for Wildlife responds to a new, urgent threat in 2025: An unprecedented withdrawal of critical funding for wildlife and conservation.

Conservation programs around the world are facing abrupt funding cuts, deregulation, and a dangerous commodification of nature — threatening years of progress in protecting biodiversity, ecosystems, and the communities that depend on them.
After raising 2.1 million USD in the last three editions, globally renowned nature and conservation photographers are coming together alongside emerging talents for Prints for Wildlife once again - to give back to nature.
