Better late than never!❤️🤍

Last May 11–12, our delegates had the incredible opportunity to attend the Parish Youth Vocation Jamboree — two days filled with faith, fellowship, and discovery.

Through meaningful talks, activities, and shared moments of prayer, our young hearts were reminded of God's unique calling for each one of us. Vocations aren't just about priesthood or religious life — they're about saying "yes" to God's plan in whatever state of life He leads us.

Here are some reflections from our delegates on their experience at the Jamboree. May their words inspire you to also listen and respond to God's voice in your own journey.

Today, we receive ashes on our foreheads in the shape of a cross.

Why?

Because we need the reminder.

The words you’ll hear are:

“Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”
— Genesis 3:19

Not to scare us.
Not to shame us.
But to wake us up.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent — 40 days of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. It’s a spiritual reset. A chance to declutter the soul.

The ashes symbolize:
🟣 Our need for God
🟣 Our mortality
🟣 Our call to repentance
🟣 A fresh start

Jesus says:

“Repent, and believe in the Gospel.”
— Mark 1:15

That’s the real invitation today.

Not perfection.
Not performance.
But conversion.

This is your reminder that you are not just a body chasing deadlines and dopamine. You are a soul made for eternity.

Let Lent change you — quietly, deeply, honestly.
