Back in 1991 I wasn't clever about the need to record video with more exacting details. Still I hope the power and speed of 3801 makes up for my clumsy effort in this quick clip as my family and I chased the loco on a parallel road past Tahmoor station.

I walk a few mornings a week over Anzac bridge on the way into Sydney for work.
On the approach to the bridge under the old Rozelle Power station there is a deep pit where the new Rozelle/The Bays metro station is being built way below the height of the near by harbour and Anzac Bridge.
I waited for a Sunday when the site was dormant and was amazed at the depth of the cutting in the sandstone.
The area has changed so much in the last 20 years that i have been a local. From a once busy rail yard that served the docks of Rozelle and White bay to virtually no lines left but gratefully some lovely parklands.
