After a magical evening at The Venardos Circus celebrating my lovely wife's birthday and being blown away by the tremendous talent of the cast, I came back and captured this photo to commemorate the evening.

Devastating scenes in Asheville over Carrier Park.

I went out to capture some flood images for a project I'm working on for the City of Asheville. I had no idea how bad things were and the hurricane hasn't even made landfall yet. The city project is a printed climate resource guide that will be a great tool for understanding the impact of climate change specific to Asheville. My hope is that people use the tips in this guide to protect themselves, their families and their homes. Additionally, I hope this guide stimulates conversations in the community around climate.
