Happy 100th Anniversary to the National Park System! I never want to forget how helpful you like to be outside. Right now that means a lot of watering plants and spreading mulch with dad, and to some, that would be boring work, but for you, it brings you a sense of accomplishment and purpose. Now if only we could direct some of that hard work ethic toward picking up toys. ☺️

The first of the month is when my phone reminds me to backup my photos. Most of this task is automated, but there is one task I still do manually. You see, Apple's Photostream auto transfers over photos to my computer, but not video! And so, each month I connect my phone to my computer and do a full transfer of the memories I've recorded on the fly with my phone. And from there, my entire photo collection is backed up two more times for safety. Because when you've lost photos before, you never want to experience that feeling again. Right?

Summer 2016 will forever be remembered as the summer I discovered cottage cheese + tomatoes. Best snack ever. Such a simple combo, I know, but I never liked cottage cheese until a friend suggested combining them with tomatoes, one of my favorite foods. Have you tried it? With every tooth lost, the littleness in him slowly disappears. So you bet I noticed that fourth tooth was missing when he ran downstairs last Thursday. But why wasn't he excited to tell me? Oh, he didn't even realize it was gone! Nope, it had fallen out during a fight with his brother and he was only focused on telling me what had happened. Luckily, the tooth was found lying on the floor at the battle scene. Oh these kiddos sure now how to keep a mama on her toes. http://ift.tt/2anjTgl
