A few months ago, a YouTuber got in touch to ask if he could interview me about the Buncefield explosion - as I was one of the first journalists on the scene that day. It’s a rare treat to be asked to appear on the other side of the lens for a change.

He messaged today to say the video is now live. It’s a fascinating watch, and even I learned a few things about Hemel that I didn’t know before.

After a busy few months working on various projects, I’m really proud to share this.

Watford BID has just launched a video I produced featuring some amazing local business leaders talking about the future of Watford Town Centre.

The video supports the upcoming BID ballot, which runs from 12 September to 9 October. The plan for 2026 to 2031 includes:

• Improving the town centre experience
• Promoting Watford as a destination
• Supporting business growth
• Championing collaboration
• Embracing sustainability and innovation

Thanks to everyone who took part in the video: Carol Andrea, Iain Milton, Samantha Ford, Robert Walker, Saffron Johnson, Donna Lawrie, Kwame Tefe, Mark Ryan, Lavanya Gamsani, Peter Taylor, Kara Mesiano, Simon Plumb and Andy Wiseman.

Looking back at these photos from 2020, it’s hard to believe it’s been five years since our community began standing outside our homes, clapping for the NHS and all the key workers who kept the country going. These pictures remind me of a time when we were apart yet more united than ever.

We lost so much - friends, loved ones, and life as we knew it -but in those moments, we came together. Neighbours who had never spoken before became friends. We painted rainbows, banged pots and pans, and found hope in the darkest days.

Let’s never forget the strength, kindness, and gratitude we showed each other when it mattered most. 💙

I recently wrapped up a project with Epson to tell the inspiring story of Roger Swann, whose Epson dot matrix printer has been in operation since 1982!

Filmed in the scenic Devon countryside and Epson’s Watford HQ, this case study is a testament to quality, sustainability, and customer loyalty. It was an honor to bring this tale to life.

🚀 Exciting news for Watford! 🚀

Big things are happening with the historic Watford Colosseum and Town Hall—both are getting major makeovers! I’m super proud that Watford Borough Council chose me to create the official video (with my own voiceover, too!) showcasing these amazing plans.

Thanks to £16 million in government funding from the UK Levelling Up Fund, Watford is set to become an even more vibrant place for everyone to enjoy. These upgrades will bring new energy to these iconic spots, making them even better community and cultural hubs for locals and visitors alike.

Can’t wait to see these plans come to life! 🌆 Keep an eye out for more updates on this transformation!

I had the pleasure of interviewing Gen Kitchen for Wellingborough at the 2019 general election, where she stood against Andrea Leadsom for the South Northamptonshire seat.

I knew then she was one to watch.

School's out for Christmas - and so am I! It was a real treat to end the year on a high by being invited down to Kennington to film the new promotional video for Archbishop Sumner Church Of England Primary School. The children were a joy to work with, and I even feasted on two fantastic school lunches on the shoots.

It's just been announced this year's Christmas lights switch-on in Watford will not have a stage with performances - or a local celeb doing the countdown 😮
