Popping in with a quick update. In the next few weeks I’ll be reaching out to those who signed up for sessions to schedule those. As things begin returning to some semblance of normalcy I’ll also be reaching out to clients and scheduling new family sessions. I’m also accepting reservations for a limited number of 2021 seniors. It’s a rough and scary time, y’all. Who’s have guessed that one of the hardest parts about dealing with a global pandemic would be re-learning elementary school math?

In the early days I worked with all my existing clients to cancel/indefinitely reschedule all upcoming portrait sessions. I felt this was important for the safety of everyone’s families and friends, including my own.

Now school cancellations are being extended, proms are being canceled, graduations are up in the air. I love my 2020 seniors and I want to do what I can to help them reclaim the memories this awful situation threatens.

I don’t know when this will be over. But when it is, I will photograph any high school or college senior. I will photograph you in that prom dress you picked out in January, along with your date or your friends. I will photograph you in your cap and gown. Whatever you need to hold onto your 2020 memories, I will do what I can to make it happen.

Please spread this post far and wide. Anyone in the area, or even beyond, who wants to message me will be put on a mailing list and I’ll start making contacts once life starts returning to some semblance of normal. We will make it through this. Together.

How's this for a beautiful family? It's still a little warm for a proper "autumn" family portrait, but that didn't stop us from braving the late evening summer heat to grab this shot.

You see, it's been years since this family has had a portrait together. The time was just never right. It didn't seem like it would be right the evening we decided to meet. And were there challenges to getting the portraits we wanted? Sure. But we overcame them.

We make memories every single day. To be perfectly honest, we probably have more vivid memories of the days when everything goes wrong than the one when everything goes right.

If our family memories are important to us, we mustn't put off capturing those memories until everything is perfect. Those memories we make each day deserve space in our hearts, in our photo albums, and on our walls.
