Having a bit of a breather from the tech rat race and picking my camera back up. 😍

Yesterday, I got to play at the Roseville Telephone Museum (who knew?) to capture some promo photos for the Women's Theatre Collective, Sacramento's production of "The Hello Girls"

The play tells the untold story of America's first women soldiers, telephone operators who worked on the front lines during WWI.

Hello friends who are artists and friends who know them!

I'm working with Jenny Connors and Alison Gilbreath for Women's Theatre Collective, Sacramento to organize a SWAN day, showcasing local women artists and their work, before a performance of their newest show, The Penelopiad, on March 30th.

We're looking for nominations for featured artists. It will be an opportunity to showcase their work to a captive audience and make community connections that fuel your creative pursuits.

If you know of someone who you think should be featured, or if that someone is you, please reach out to me directly for a quick conversation.

Had a blast photographing Valkyrie Theatre Company 's Snow Queen play at The Hut in Fair Oaks directed again by my friend, Alison Gilbreath. I think I smiled from ear to ear for 2 hours!

This is a modern take on The Snow Queen fairytale and is played with such evident joy by the 3 actors. Kids and adults alike will love it.

Playing now through December 17th at The Hut in Fair Oaks.

I am so enjoying picking up my camera this year for the theatre productions of my fabulous and talented friends.

This time it was for Orangevale Open's production of Pinnochio. Their parent-led after school drama program is really like no other.

Congrats to my friends August and Rebecca on putting on another wonderful show that taught these kids all the good lessons.

Rage, Sorrow, Repression, Persecution, and Sisterhood. Some of the emotions that the play, Emilia, explores along with a healthy dose of laughter. I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of the incredible performance from the all-woman cast this past Thursday as I photographed their rehearsals.

You should absolutely go get tickets to see this play RIGHT NOW. It's directed by my good friend Alison Gilbreath for the Women's Theatre Collective, Sacramento and running weekends through 10/22 at The Hut in Fair Oaks Village, a beautiful, intimate, outdoor, theatre-in-the-round.

It's been a while but I'm back for a bit here to share some photos I had a ton of fun making this weekend fo Valkyrie Theatre Company , a wonderful new theatre company from my friends Alison Gilbreath and Jenny Connors.

Have to admit, I was a bit rusty, having not picked up my camera in >6 months but loved being back in the saddle again too, especially watching my friends' kids having a blast on stage.
