Autumn 2017, London.

I spent several weeks following Ashleigh Nelson as she returned to training after hip surgery, documenting the gruelling, repetitive work of recovery behind elite performance.

This effort would lead to more success, returning to the track to win medals at World Championships and Commonwealth Games, as well as representing Great Britain at her second Olympic Games in Tokyo.

This week Ashleigh is at her third Olympics, this time swapping the running track for the Bobsleigh. Competing in the 2-Woman event, she has become one of the handful of athletes to compete at both Summer and Winter Games.
