The snowy owl of Cypress was in my neighborhood for over over 3 weeks. Although I took lots of photographs, I shot a lot of slow-motion video. I was able to document many of the bird's behaviors. There is no music or sound, and all of it is in slow motion. Please enjoy it. More importantly, please follow me on Instagram

All images shot with my OM System E-M1 Mark iii with 300mm pro lens and 1.4 teleconverter. It was a small bummer to be the only one using OM System products. If the owl comes back OM System, can I borrow the new 150-400 lens for a week?

Okay, its time to actually post my GOOD photos from our trip. These underwater photos were taken with my Get Olympus TG-5 in the PT-058 housing. I use dual UFL-2 strobes and the UWL-05 dome port (wet lens). This setup allows me to shoot a scene 20 feet wide at just 4 feet away then take a picture of something as small as a grain of rice less than a minute later.

Taken in the Great Barrier Reef while on Mike Ball Dive Expeditions live aboard dive boat. I have so many photos from our 2 month journey from Alaska to Australia, it will take me days to go through them all. Taken with my Get Olympus TG-5 camera

We spent two weeks in New Zealand's south island. Although I love the incredible natural beauty of America, New Zealand is one of the most beautiful countries I've seen. It lies at about the same latitudes as Northern California, Oregon and Washington, so it has a mild climate. Our road trip started in Christchurch, took as as far south as Stewart Island, then back up to Queenstown.

While at my favorite beach in Hawaii I seem to always take many shots of turtles. I don't usually post more than one photo of a particular subject, but I'm going to break my rule. Enjoy the green sea turtle photos

I have to say that I'm a little embarassed for not posting anything in 6 months. I never posted any photos from Australia (6 months ago) and another great trip to Baja to see gray whales in February. We just got back from another adventure that included New Zealand, Tonga, Moorea, Bora Bora, and Hawaii (and about 4 more places). In the coming days you'll see photos from all of these locations in [relatively] random order.
