You think you make your chicken coop high security- then this guy/gal shows up! Found the spot. He/she came under the fence. Didn’t kill any of my ladies. Roo did his job and kept them away until I got it out of there. FYI illegal to kill Hawks - birds of prey are protected.

Bobcat was the culprit of my fav hen. Tightened net on top, fixed any holes around fence and put up more motion sensors. 🤷🏼‍♀️😔

I am mourning the loss of my favorite chicken, which has disappeared, leaving only feathers behind. Saydee briefly ran off but returned as I was leaving the driveway. After returning from alternative school, I was unable to find my office key, prompting me to re-examine the jeep, where I eventually found it. As I re-entered, I saw Coach Hood retrieving the AED, and as a member of the school response team, I quickly joined him and Mrs. Hurley. Fortunately, it was only a drill. Our response time was impressive, taking only 36 seconds to respond, well within the allotted two minutes. Despite the challenges, I experienced some positive events. It is essential to acknowledge that even in difficult times, there can be moments of joy. Today also marked the last day of school and although that is today’s events, it’s only 9 AM! 😬🤣 FIND YOUR JOY

Today was JoJo’s last day at school. He has officially retired. His book was read to the entire second grade and one third grade class. Afterwards each child stated what they wanted to be when they grow up before giving goodbye hugs and smooches to JoJo. I must say the best answer was from a second grade girl. She wants to be alive ☺️💕
Next book is going to be about my blind goat CoCo. - the one that got her head stuck in the fence at midnight thirty 🤦🏼‍♀️

It’s midnight thirty and I had to get a blind goat’s head out of the fence because she thought the grass was greener on the other side 🤦🏼‍♀️ farm life ain’t for everybody 🤣
