Which one do you like more B&W or Color?

I’ve been scouting areas near WTC to capture the tower as the sun sets and at night. The view in the photo is from the Washington Square Park. Along with this photo I also captured another cool scene in front of the arch which I will post this week. @ Washington Square Park

I was invited to a family friend’s birthday this weekend. And to keep my skills sharp I brought along my camera to capture the dinner. Since it was a low light restaurant I used my 50mm Lens with the aperture wide open, so I could shoot without flash, and get a really nice blurry background. Here you can see the birthday girl holding up her birthday tiramisu.

It’s not often that I’m in photos (I’m in the 1st photo on the right), but during the holidays I get that chance to do so with some of the people that matter the most to me. Photographing my family is one of the reasons I continue to improve my photography skills. They are also the reason I enjoy photographing events, because I know how important photos are to keep memories alive. @ New York, New York
