TAKE THE PICTURE!

Take the picture with the messy hair.
Take the picture when everyone isn’t looking.
Take the picture when the house is a little messy and life isn’t perfect.

Take the picture of Grandma laughing.
Take the picture of Dad holding the baby.
Take the picture of the kids running through the yard.
Take the selfie with the person you love—even if you don’t feel beautiful that day.

Because one day, you may wish you had just one more picture.

One day, the voice may be gone. The hug may be gone. The laughter may be gone. And the person you love may no longer be here. And when that day comes, a photograph can become so much more than a photograph.

It can become a piece of them you get to hold onto.

So take the picture! You may not realize how precious it is until it's all you have.

And please…get in the picture, too. Your family doesn't need a perfect picture of you. They need a picture with you in it.

Because a picture is just a picture until a picture is all you have!

I want to share something that is very close to my heart with you.

Over the years, so many of you have walked alongside our family —the hard days, the miracles, the tears, the prayers, and the moments when we had no idea what God was doing.

Through this journey, I’ve learned something I want to share with other women: When life feels uncertain, you need somewhere to anchor your heart.

That’s why I created The Anchored Woman. God birthed this vision in my heart to help other women.

It’s a place for women who are walking through hard seasons…women who are waiting, hurting, overwhelmed, grieving, rebuilding, praying for their families, wanting to grow closer to God or simply trying to keep going.

Here we’ll talk about the things women often carry quietly—fear, faith, waiting, grief, hope, marriage, family, purpose, and trusting God when life doesn’t make sense.

You’ll find biblical encouragement, prayers, devotionals, Scripture, honest conversations, and practical faith-based resources to help you draw closer to Jesus and find strength for whatever season you're in.

This isn’t about pretending life is easy.....It’s about learning that even when life shakes us, we can remain anchored in Christ. It's about growing closer to Him in every season of life!

Another sweet photoshoot for my precious daughter in love on Mother's Day! I'm so blessed and get emotional looking at these pictures of my son with his beautiful family. So proud of the life they are building! If you know me, you know these grandsons are their NeNe's entire heart....they bring so much JOY to our lives! I never tire of photographing them! 💙

One of the sweetest photo shoots for my sweet girl....it was not only their ONE year anniversary but it was her FIRST Mother's Day, so it was only fitting to do a little maternity shoot. She's a beautiful, glowing mama! So special for this mama to photograph her baby before she has a baby and becomes a mama! 💗

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Addi's Journey for Addi's Books and Bears mission! It's not just a cookie you are buying, it's an opportunity to show support for Abby as she recovers from a stroke at the young age of 9 years old and to give back to children in the hospital through Addi's Mission! If the waiting has been heavy lately, this is for you.....

I know the waiting hasn’t been easy. I'm there right now too and I understand! Have you prayed, hoped, and wondered when things would finally change? Remember this...God’s timing has not failed you—it is still perfect. Even now!

Even when you can’t see it, He is working. He can shift everything in a moment—turning sorrow into joy, delays into direction, and closed doors into protection. Nothing is wasted in His hands.

Release the overthinking. It only steals the peace God is trying to give you. Instead, place it all before Him and trust His heart.

The same God who made a way before will make a way again. Stay anchored in faith… your moment is coming right on time because He's an on time God!
