क्याप्शन: मिति: 1966 स्थान: मूलघाट, धनकुटा विवरण: तमोर नदी पारको प्रमुख पुल। कथा यस्तो छ कि धेरै स्कटिश इन्जिनियरहरूलाई 1930 मा राणा शासकहरूले आँखामा पट्टी ल्याएर यो पुल डिजाइन र निर्माण गरेका थिए। सन् १९५० को दशकमा एउटा तार भाँचियो र तत्कालीन शासकहरूले इन्जिनियरिङ कम्पनीलाई गुनासो गरे जसले खुशीसाथ टुटेको तार बदलिदियो । सन् १९६६ मा बिफरको डरले पुल पार गर्ने जो कोहीले पनि खोप लगाउनुपरेको थियो र त्यस वर्ष धनकुटा जिल्ला यो रोगमुक्त भएको थियो ।
Caption: Date: 1966 Location: Mulghat, Dhankuta Description: Major bridge across the Tamor River. The story goes that several Scottish Engineers were brought in blindfolded in the 1930's by the very cautious ruling Ranas and designed and built this bridge. In the 1950s one of the guy wires broke and the then rulers complained to the engineering company who gladly replaced the broken wire saying that if that is all that went wrong with their bridge over that many years they would use the incident to advertise their products. During the smallpox scare of 1966 anyone who crossed the bridge had to be vaccinated and Dhankuta District was free of the disease that year.
