The Class of 2026 is still going strong over here! 🥳. Ryan's session was at one of my favorite spots, Wind Point Lighthouse! If you are looking for some hardscapes (like buildings, fences, benches) a park like look (with flowers and trees) AND the beach...this place has it all in one spot this is it!

Ryan's session was so fun, I loved his high energy and fun smile. He is so passionate about our future and ready to change the world. Part of why I have always loved working with kids (at my full time job and in photography) is because kids are inspiring, and Ryan was no exception to that!

I had a chance to photograph seniors in some unique and new to me spots last year! I love that opportunity! Candymarie is a former student of mine AND my husbands, so besides getting to do a session in the South Milwaukee PAC, I also got to reconnect with a pretty special lady!

It's ! I am hoping all of my clients had great ceremonies in the last week!

OMGosh, I loved the light and airy look of Cole's outfit amongst the setting sun and pink hydrangeas on the Riverwalk! I posted not too long ago, about how I would put my time and energy into styling during my session rather than location. A stunning location can’t save poor styling. The wardrobe, colors, fit, and overall visual cohesion shape the image more than the backdrop and look at how nice this is! Location creates context-styling creates impact.

I've fallen a bit behind on , so I'm just going to make every day a day for the Class of 2026! Things are wrapping up fast!

Jonathan combined Grant Park and Drexel Town Square for a beach spot and an urban city spot. Great combo! One of the things to consider when choosing your location is how light works at each spot. It works well to go to the beach at Grant Park early in the evening because the sun is behind hills/bluffs quite early. Then we still have time to travel to the next spot by the time that perfect golden hour starts. Keep in mind as well, that on a bright sunny day, we can easily continue our session for about 15 minutes after actual sunset!
