As a foodie, the question I always get - what places do I recommend. It remains one of the hardest questions to answer on the spot! I could go on and on with recommendations until you stopped me. I do give an answer -
This is my top recommend! (a revisit and update that brings me joy to share with you all!) Eat well Amigos.. Don’t waste your bites.

A Dallas staple is serving up portions so big that you might feed the whole family on one dish! Did you ever play hot potato as a kid? Baked potatoes are hot these days in another way. Especially fully loaded and then they go
and add barbecue too there.
I tell you what - Kooly’s BBQ doesn’t play wether its nachos, sides, baked potatoes or straight up barbecue. The pillowy potato goodness bathed in butter with sour cream, cheese and all - it’s just the beginning.
I love barbecue turned into monstrous guilty pleasures like they do at Kooly’s!!! The flavors be hitting! Bussin. Bussin. Bet! Some of the best nachos in the metroplex if not beyond. Good people providing great service. And you will feel like you just left
grandma’s.

Trevino’s Craft Smokehouse with their Award-winning BBQ are showing out with the addition of a food trailer providing the public with another option to get their fix.
This second act for barbecue couple -Sara and Dustin - is looking good. Real good. Recently, I traveled over to Saginaw to … Even the rain didn’t stop me.
“The response has been insane,” ~ Dustin “I’m having trouble keeping up. Been running 18-20 hour days while we get everyone trained to new pars.”
They have a small refurbished trailer out there now. I foresee an upgrade and the addition of a smoker trailer one day. (but lets not put that on Dustin yet lol)
Outstanding barbecue and a level of service that you will just love! I am waiting for guisado! I appreciate the hospitality from Sara and Dustin. Hey guys - I need a special order t shirt asap!

I went BIG! Real BIG! With a custom MONSTROUS pan de mu**to from !
Día de Los Mu***os weekend is coming up and what better way to celebrate than going big… real big. A holiday that is actually celebrated over multiple days to remember and pay your respects to friends and family who have passed.
Pan de mu**to is a traditional sweet bread made for Día de Los Mu***os. It is known for it’s bone shaped cross with a central piece representing a skull. It often covered with sugar or sesame seeds.
It was my pleasure to collaborate with Del Norte to bring you what may be the biggest Pan de mu**to in the world. The Munster’s Pan de mu**to has half green sugar on one side and sesame seeds on the other!
When it coming to Mexican bakeries - I don’t go just any where. I get my favorite sweet breads from . I love the sugar dusted donuts and empanadas the most! Pumpkin empanada for me, pineapple for mom and apple for my favorite sidekick in life.
