Excited—and I won’t lie, a little nervous—for my solo art exhibition 🎨 Taking over Mange Tout at Traffalgar Street in central Brighton this January.

You’ll see not one, not two, but multiple large-scale intuitive abstract pieces, including one of my favourites.
I’m in full packing and setup mode, still deciding which piece makes the cut.

If you’re in Brighton in January, stop by—have a hot chocolate, coffee, cake or delicious food at Mange Tout and soak it all in while being fully surrounded by art.

Picture this . . .
A spacious professional art studio, a floor standing easel with your name on it, big windows allowing plenty of natural light, uplifting music sending tingles down your spine.

You stand there, looking at the large blank canvas in front of you. A strange mix of nervous excitement flows in waves through your entire Being. You dip the brush into the paint and notice you’re breathing - slow and steady. It’s time!

Beginner friendly, all art materials including large canvas & lunch provided.

This West Hove professional Art studio became more than just a studio — it became a homecoming. Over 200 participants reconnected with their creativity and embracing the courage it takes to paint intuitive abstract on a large scale with me.

From bold strokes to quiet moments of reflection, every brush strokes tell a story of coming back to who we truly are✨🎨

This art quote speaks directly to my soul. For me, art isn’t just about painting—it’s a sacred process. It’s how I move through pain, grief, shame, and anger. Each brushstroke is a layer of release, a layer of remembering who I am beneath it all.

With every piece I create, I return a little closer to myself. And this is why I invite others to paint with me—not to make something perfect, but to come home to themselves too.

Summer— my favorite time for painting and slowing down. This month, I hosted a mini weekend retreat: an intuitive painting experience in my studio with the doors wide open. We created large-scale works, layer by layer, and embraced the beauty of summer — nourishing lunches, fresh juices, time in the garden, deep breaths, rest, and connection. From big canvases, small canvases to art journaling, the creativity flowed.

We will do it again in September! Most of my painting workshops sold out, only 1 space left for “Paint your own Large Abstract” one day experience in Sep & Oct, Brighton & Hove professional art studio.

My Large Abstract Painting Workshop in September & October is almost full — and they’re the last one I’ll be offering this year. All other workshops are sold out.

If the idea of painting on a big canvas feels scary… you’re not alone.

If you haven’t painted in years (or ever)… you’re so welcome.

If you’re worried about being judged or not being “good enough”… please know this space is the opposite of that.

This workshop is about freedom, expression, and reconnecting with your creativity — not perfection. No pressure, no art-speak, no experience needed.

You don’t need to bring anything — all paints, brushes, canvases, and a beautiful, nourishing lunch are included. Just bring yourself.

You’ll be gently guided, supported, and encouraged every step of the way. It’s a space to feel safe, inspired, and completely free to create in your own way.

Can you believe it's been TWO YEARS?

Over 300 incredible participants, more than 40 intuitive abstract painting workshops - from giant canvases to tiny art journal pages, we've explored it all.

Some haven't painted since childhood, others searching to reconnect with their creative spirit. From across Brighton, Sussex UK and beyond, you joined me in my private studio and a beautiful professional art studio, creating magic in both big groups and intimate circles.

This is more than painting. It's expression, connection, and creative awakening.

Thank you for being part of this journey many more!

With every brush stroke, layer by layer, I paint my inner world.

Sometimes darkness.

Sometimes light.

I’m always surprised at what emerges.

I don’t follow a plan. I don’t think up a concept. I paint my emotions. With each brushstroke I feel lighter, unburdened. It’s a catharsis of colour, shape & texture.

May couldn’t have been juicier! Filled in with time in nature, adventures, making big decisions and alone time in my art studio at the back of my garden.

I started this year with a big bang! I’ve run 20 (small & large) painting workshops. When not holding space for others, I’ve been doing my own inner work by attending multiple self-enquiry and painting retreats. Because when you hold space for others, it’s important that someone else holds a space for you too.

Looking back, I’m grateful for always prioritising and creating space for myself between running painting workshops, time where I can rest, slow down, recharge my energy and come back to myself. Creating from that place is effortless and magical.

Resting is part of the creative process!

Watching this video made me realise how blessed I am for the life I have created. Life with a deeper purpose which keeps unfolding and keeps surprising me every day. From spending 11 years in the corporate world as an accountant to this! And there is more to come 😉

This is what happens when we don’t cultivate creativity!

Brene Brown goes on to say:

“Creativity lives within us until it’s expressed, neglected to death, or suffocated by resentment and fear. If we want to make meaning, we need to make art. Cook, write, draw, doodle, paint, scrapbook, take pictures, collage, knit, rebuild an engine, sculpt, dance, decorate, act, sing—it doesn’t matter. As long as we’re creating, we’re cultivating meaning.”

We have to find a way to create, we have to prioritise time to play, experiment, express and not care what others think.
