November photo dump. We had walks and photography sessions and the building of (merch and circles and magic oh my!), a quick trip to Atlanta to see my darling neices, mocktails and Sammy’s birthday, FaceTimes with my girls, the birth of another new business .crowd (where I will sell my Cubs celebration pics), A CLEAN CT SCAN (!!!!), new friends, my beloved Olive, and just a lot of special moments in the midst of chaos and some heartbreak. Biggest realization of the month: WE ALL NEED EACH OTHER NOW MORE THAN EVER. love you and Happy December.

I found this photo in my basement when I was cleaning it out this past weekend.

It’s always been a favorite.

It’s funny how ONE SECOND in time can capture so much story and fill a heart to the brim.

I used to teach moms how to capture 📸 their kids in their everyday but I stopped when I realized everyone wanted to understand the technical parts of it.

I only wanted to teach about the magic parts of it. The parts that lit me up. The parts about being authentic and present and vulnerable with capturing your everyday.

So I pivoted. And Femnest was somehow born along the way.

Guiding women in talking circles brings only magic- there is not technicality to proving space and safety for REAL TALK.

What we have for October’s dump:
Collabs and , football and homecomings, parents weekend, dogs and wrestling with reflectors.

It was an insane month, a month I didn’t love most of the time. The parts I did love you are seeing here.

The rest was a s**t show for many different reasons and to be frank I am glad it is over. Onto November!! 🤍

September. I had to ground because I am so hijacked by our daily news. So I learned in September to feel my feet on our 🌎, to focus on what is real and true and light in my life- the love and connection I have with my loved ones.
We had Lake Geneva, a surprise trip to Oxford to see my girls, my boys, my great nephews first birthday, Femnest launch on IG! ( ) a 22nd anniversary with my wonderful Kenny, beautiful walks with Olive, smoothies and chess and empty gas tanks.

It was real nice. 🤍🤍🤍

It’s daughters day, you say? This is a day I can get behind. They are my whole heart. So different but yet so the same. They are not with me everyday anymore but in my heart every moment, tied to my very being.

L + M- I miss you so but am so glad you are with each other. I need some updated pics, girls. Love you both beyond.

Summer end.

Lakes and first days and kisses and storms and messes and drives and frogs and dogs and just lots and lots of summer love.

Goodbye Summer 25. You were not in my top 5 but I appreciated you nonetheless. Your sunny days and blue skies and even your storms were a balm for my soul. Until next year. ☀️

In a lot of different ways.

Back from cancer. I passed my 4 year mark this month and it feels more in the rear view than ever.

Back from the insane stress of the summer-it was not exactly relaxing but that overwhelm has lessened.

Back to creative flow. It was gone but I feel it creeping back in.

Back to being in tune. I can hear myself and lots of synchronicity is happening. It had faded too for a bit.

I don’t know. I just feel more like myself than I have in a while and I thought I’d share here and celebrate🙌

I think I’ve allowed time and space to work some kinks out, I’ve been patient, I’ve trusted the process and am overall enjoying this phase of life and getting ready for a new chapter.

Cuz I will be 50 in less than 6 months 👀🫣🥹

Anyways, cheers to being back…until I fade away for a bit again. Hahahah!!

Just trying to occupy my mind to keep it from crashing out after dropping off both my girls this weekend.

I blinked and I only have 2 kids left at home with me.

Knew this was the process and the point BUT THE HEARTACHE IS REAL

The reason I keep going. Because of the incredible support, the obvious NEED for these circles and events that I am creating, and the connections we are all making with each other. These are just a few messages I’ve gotten from women who appreciate what we are creating-together.

Listen, I’m just providing the space and the content. It’s all of US who are craGinf the magic. By talking, supporting and learning together in our circles and at our events.

BTS with me building

It’s a complete labor of love. It’s exhausting and exciting and it rips my heart in half daily. Like I have wanted to quit soooo many times and have gotten so mad at myself for starting this. But I know in my heart of hearts that I have something here.

We have hosted 6 circles now and have had 4 in person events. AND EVERY WOMAN HAS LOVED IT. AND NEEDS IT.

We have listened, we have pivoted and we have learned and we are are finally finding our rhythm

That rhythm lies in listening, talking, supporting, loving. It lies in being honest and vulnerable, open hearted and authentic. It lies in our circles. Our imperfect and messy and TRUE circles.
