Selon la mythologie slave, les jours sans vent on peut entendre Stribog jouer de son instrument favori, la flûte. Muni de mon appareil photo, de crayon, de fusain et d’encre de Chine, j’ai suivi la mélodie pour retranscrire trois fragments de partition. C’était en lointaine Voïvodine.
According to Slavic mythology, on windless days one may hear Stribog playing his favorite instrument — the flute. Armed with my camera, pencil, charcoal, and Indian ink, I followed the melody to transcribe three fragments of his score. It was in distant Vojvodina.
