I was beyond excited to travel to Wachusett Mountain Ski Area to photograph this brave couple for their winter engagement session! There were definitely a few unknowns along the way since ski engagement sessions are not exactly part of my cozy winter studio workflow (let’s be honest), but it turned into such a wonderful experience. And of course, my clients were so in love that capturing beautiful images was the easiest part. 🤍

Right toward the end, we ran into Jeff Crowley, one of the owners of Wachusett Mountain Ski Area, who noticed skis sticking out of the snow and came over to make sure we were ok :) We definitely felt well taken care of and grateful for his approach.

Winter is actually one of my favorite times to photograph in the studio 🤍

It’s warm, cozy, and completely stress free. No weather worries, no rushing, just a calm, controlled environment where everyone can relax and be themselves.

Family sessions, children, portraits, personal projects, pets… the studio works beautifully for all of it. If the holidays flew by too fast and photos got pushed aside, winter is a perfect time to catch up and capture something you have been meaning to do!
