Sorry for the lack of real footage the past few days. Normal service will resume next week!!! Lots of photos to edit...
Over the past couple of weeks I've learnt some new techniques, skills and processes with AI generation. While I've had some spare time to create, I've put these new learnt skills to the test. It's helped me to start to overcome some obstacles I've recently had regarding AI, and although results aren't instantly a million times better, I have a new workflow, processes and tools to go better than ever before.
Hope you like the results as much as I do creating and playing around with AI...

🐦 Huge news for Scotland's wildlife! 🏝️
RSPB Scotland has just acquired Bass Rock and Craigleith Island in the Firth of Forth — the first time these iconic islands have been held in charitable ownership in 320 years.
Bass Rock is home to around 100,000 breeding Gannets, while neighbouring Craigleith shelters approximately 10,000 Puffins. Two of Scotland's most breathtaking seabird spectacles — now protected for generations to come.
The purchase was made possible with £586,000 support from the National Heritage Memorial Fund, alongside generous donations from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and private supporters.
This couldn't come at a more critical time — over 70% of Scotland's seabirds are in decline, facing threats from climate change, food shortages, invasive species, and disease.
RSPB Scotland will now work with the Scottish Seabird Centre on long-term conservation, research, and public engagement — including plans for a new 360° viewing theatre so everyone can experience the magic without disturbing the birds.
Scotland's seabirds just got their biggest win in centuries. Here's to a wilder, healthier Firth of Forth! 🌊

From the moment we arrived on the Isle of Luing we could hear this strange bird song we had never heard before. It became one of the many unique sounds to the island during our visit. Snipes drumming. This video perfectly covers it. So glad we got to experience this. The island is full of them...

Otter in Torsa Bay - Isle of Luing...
We had been on the Island roughly 5 hours, and this little one appeared. I was watching a Seal, watching me to my right, turned left, and saw an Otter. Fully aware I was there, He/she played for the camera briefly, but dinner was more important.
Torsa Bay is a tidal sea loch on the north-east coast of Luing, where the luxury holiday pods are, at Wildluing. You have the perfect view of this from here. The bay forms part of the sheltered waters protected by the Loch Sunart to the Sound of Jura Marine Protected Area...

It's not that often you get to see a freshly fledged Song Thrush.
I was standing on the decking outside the door to our accommodation. About 7am, when suddenly this wee chap came bumbling around the corner, almost hitting me square in the face. Flight skills zero, so just out of the nest. Anyhow, it landed and stayed just long enough for me to grab a few shots...

Online shop is now permanently closed....
I gave it a go, but due to lack of interest in prints and cards I've decided to close shop. Before I set it all up I knew within a short time this would happen, but thought I would give it a try. The free trial with Shopify is almost up, and would now cost me about £500 a year to run.
Thanks to the few people that bought prints from the shop. You now have some unique one off prints, never to be printed again.
Over the years people keep telling me, you should sell prints, do cards etc. I always knew the reality though. Why I never tried over the years. This just confirms it.
Again, thanks to everyone that used the shop. Can now focus on other side projects...
