🌟 A Little About Me 🌟

Hi, I’m Carlo (yes, that Carlo 😊). I’m just a week away from turning 45, and life’s been an amazing adventure so far! I’m blessed with a beautiful wife, Roxanne, who runs Roxanne Fontanarosa Dog Behaviour Consultant, and together we have a wonderful 5-year-old daughter, Aria. Our family wouldn’t be complete without our fur babies, Fig and Pippin, and our cat, Willow (despite the fact that I’m allergic to her and end up vacuuming my bed whenever she’s made herself at home there).

For over 20 years, I’ve run a professional garden maintenance business, working solo. But photography has always been my quiet passion. I started out capturing landscapes, but everything changed when Roxanne and I moved in together. Along with her came Ruby, a one-year-old black Lab who quickly became the star of my lens.

Ruby was my first doggy muse, and she showed me just how much joy and meaning pet photography can bring. When she passed at the amazing age of 14 and a half, those countless photos of her became priceless treasures for both Roxanne and me. That’s when I knew: this is what I want to do for others.

Now, with this dog photography business, my mission is simple—to create beautiful, lasting keepsakes for fellow dog lovers. Because our pets may not be with us forever, but the memories and the love they bring deserve to be cherished for a lifetime. ❤️🐾

It was dark and misty in the woods yesterday -some might see it as gloomy, but to me, it was perfect for creating atmospheric photographs.

Yesterday, Fig and I decided to brave the snowy trails up at Dovestone, and I’m so glad we did. The light was absolutely stunning, making the cold feet totally worth it.

These images showcase a series of before-and-after comparisons. I aim to keep my edits subtle, maintaining a natural appearance while preserving the highest image quality. While collar removal doesn’t always yield perfect results, it works beautifully in these examples.
