I love doing these sessions but it always breaks my heart a little to realize we are coming up on another year without Allen. I think about him when I'm belly laughing telling stories about my students, I think about him when the girls and I make a last minute ice cream stop, and I think of him each time I pass a Red Robin. ;) Each time I think of him I try not to sit in the unfairness of losing him, but instead be inspired to put a little brightness into the world around me- even if just by a joke, a laugh, or some extra silliness.

Allen- you'll never, ever be forgotten, and we all love you so much.

Let's celebrate Al's birthday again this year with some Smiles for Stouty photo sessions. There will be seven 15 minute mini sessions available that evening. There is a $75 minimum donation required, but you can donate any amount you see fit, as 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Allen Stout Memorial Scholarship fund.

I'm extra excited for the Hubeckys because I know just how sweet it is to watch two little sisters grow into best friends. The perfect little moments are only going to get that much sweeter. I can't wait to see Eleanor as a big sis!

Always such a good time with this fam- but truly reminds me of how quickly time flies. New milestones with every session. I'm SO grateful to be able to capture them!

Hey, all! I know the second I blaze in here saying HAPPY SPRING! we will get a blizzard or something but I’m holding on to hope that it’s only warmer days ahead.😜☀️ Just like last year, spring photo season is shaping up to be just as busy as the fall (with only weekday availability open in April*) and dates booking fast through May and June! Woo!

So! If you love family photos in the spring/early summer, NOW is the time to get your date! Also- seniors AND college seniors: your big day is coming quicker than your parents would like to admit. 🥹 Senior photo sessions are already in full swing! 📸

the best studio session with the Miller family :)

I got to meet this trio who was SO sweet and I feel oh so lucky! Thatcher is about to be a big brother and the next time I see him I'm positive he will look ten times bigger next to that newborn, but for now, he's their one tiny, perfect, snuggly babe!

'So happy you trusted me with capturing your crew, Miller fam. I'll be patiently waiting for the news of the arrival of baby #2!!

Charlotte is *one* (and totally perfect).

It's hard to write a bubbly, carefree caption on a day like today when the world seems so dark. But I look at my own kids..and I look at these photos of this sweet babe, and I can't help but be reminded that while we may feel helpless at times, our biggest and most important job is to be a village that models love, empathy, connection, and compassion for our kids to see. & pray that one day they'll grow up and can help heal the world around us.

Happy (belated) Birthday, sweet girl. Hope you're soaking in some snow-day snuggles with mom and dad!

Baby Emmett is so darn handsome! I mean, just look at those cheeks! My heart. At the end of this session big sis and I had full blown plans for a Barbie/baby doll play date at my house with my kids...safe to say I just adore this fam!

Cozied up editing this session and digging into my 2026 calendar! Right now my calendar is open now through April (summer calendar will open March 1). And believe me, I know that April seems so far away, but booking your session a few months ahead is 🔑 to getting the date you want and not missing out! Fall is always swamped, but I looked back at last year and APRIL was actually my busiest month! 🤯 There’s nothing harder for me than saying ‘no’ to someone when they want to squeeze a session in and my calendar is full. 😭 I already have a few spring sessions on the books, so if you were thinking of a spring sesh, let’s not wait! ⚡️

When I first started this business, I said I’d never shoot weddings. Mostly because I was still learning the ropes, learning my camera, and trying to become more confident and skilled. Over the years, I said yes to a handful of second-shooting gigs where I was able to get some hands-on education from really talented photographers. I also started saying yes to VERY small weddings, and started saying yes to close friends’ weddings. I’ve even roped my husband (knowledgeable in all things 📸) into being my second-shooter, and I’ve actually really loved it.❤️ Different seasons of life (and the fact that I have a full time job outside of photography) haven’t always allowed me to take on weddings in every season. This year I feel confident in taking a few more into my calendar, and I’m so excited about the clients I’ll get to meet and the chance to help tell the story of their day through my lens.📸❤️ So if you’re recently engaged, or know someone who is, send them my way so we can chat!😍
