As a photographer and a human being, I’ve accepted that there are just some photoshoots that don’t go as planned or just aren’t working well. I look forward to these because it’s a sign of growth. I know better days are ahead

But lately ever.y Single. Photoshoot. Has been my favorite. Each one I’m obsessed with more than the last. Either that means I’m due for a crummy photoshoot or maybe I’m just getting better as an artist ❤️

As much as I love weddings, I’ve been doing a lot more photoshoots these days…and I kind of love it 🤭🤭

Photoshoots are short and sweet and really sore you to get creative. With my weddings being so free and far between, these fun little spots help keep my creativity flowing

Oftentimes couples and families want just your generic photos set in a park or by the mountains. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with those! But this is your reminder that you CAN get creative ❤️ in-home sessions are beautiful, adventure sessions are fun and exciting, set up a picnic, go for a boat ride - do something that screams YOU

This new mom was so excited that I was offering these Mother’s Day minis. She said everyone kept telling her “oh I forgot how tiny babies’ toes are🥺” and she said she wanted to photograph this season of life before it was gone and she forgot what it was like

Hearing things like that make me so happy because it means people out there really do understand the significance of getting their photos done and commemorating whatever season of life they’re in
•
So don’t wait. Get your photos done before it’s too late and you forget what it was like ❤️💔

On the serene shores of Lake Tahoe, “I can’t 😍” was the collective theme of this photoshoot. With the rocks set against the still waters, a model in a borrowed dress that everyone asked “are you the bride?” to, and flowers from a last-minute grocery run, I can honestly say these were a few of the best hours of my career to date
•
