A busy weekend here, followed by... another busy weekend next week as we are off to Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival on Thursday!

Wick Gala tonight though!

For people local to Wick, this is the start of the best week of the holidays 🙌

The effort that goes into the planning and running these events is amazing. Such a sense of community and lots of fun is always had!

I got asked to take some photos of this lovely couple and their grandparents today,

Sadly the grandparents couldn't travel to the actual wedding, which was held in Dunkeld a couple of weeks ago,

They weren't to be missed out though!

The couple got all dressed up again, just to have a few photos taken with them today, how sweet is that?!

Have I managed out to take photos recently? No... no i haven't and why is that?

Summer Holidays!

Was just discussing with another Mum yesterday that when the holidays came around, I thought I'd have lots of time to do lots of things...

I have been doing lots of things but not the things I had planned 🤣

Sometimes the best holidays are the unplanned ones... we shall certainly see 👀

I particularly like the natural portrait shots as they show how relaxed everyone was. But I also like the wider landscape shots, as Julie has captured the Caithness landscape brilliantly. Gooood Morning 😁

Things have been busy over here,

🖊 An at home office as been created
📸 Photoshoots have been booked in
💻 Website has been born and is growing well
📚Lots of admin/paperwork has been completed for the Marketing side of my business

And most importantly....

💛 Time has been spent with family and friends

It's all about balance, and i certainly lost my way there for a while which is normal for everyone when the school holidays arrive.

Life was getting too busy and I was starting to drown in it all.

Finally, it is all coming together and moments of peace are happening again,

Thanks again to everyone whos come forward to help with portfolio photos 😁 it's very much appreciated.
