I know I’m not the only one who would love to see this platform go back to basics. So in the spirit of nostalgia, here’s an old one from 2019!

One of the last sunrise missions I did before my twin girls were born. I knew they were arriving very soon and my head was absolutely whirring with excitement, anticipation, a definite fear of the unknown and wondering when I would be next hiking at sunrise again. This series attempts to capture those feelings, with some imagery taken along the way up. It was definitely a morning to remember!

Been seeing a lot of this pixel stretch trend in the automotive circles the past few days. Thought I’d give it a try myself with some shots from Iceland. I appreciate that these won’t be for everyone but I’m always down for some creative experimentation. It was a ton of fun putting my own spin on these. Which one do you like best?

Encounters of the third kind at the top of Germany 👽 Sunrises at the Zugspitze are always a treat, but this one felt especially otherworldly. As the first light hit the peaks, these trippy saucer-like clouds drifted overhead, looking as though they’d arrived from another planet.

It was hard not to let my imagination run wild - especially when even the buildings up there seem straight out of a sci-fi film.

I J E N // Lost in the sulfur mists of East Java. We didn’t get the clear sunrise we were hoping for, but Ijen offered something better: a moody, ethereal glimpse into the earth’s raw power. Between the toxic beauty of the highly acidic turquoise lake and the humbling sight of the sulfur mines, it’s a place that stays with you long after you’ve finally caught your breath.

Impressions from a gorgeous sunrise at the foot of the towering Mount Teide on Tenerife. We wanted to get a different perspective of the peak and decided to hike up a hill opposite. The views didn’t disappoint! Have you seen this side of Tenerife?

A series dedicated to the exploration of Hong Kong‘s concrete jungle. There‘s something so satisfying about looking for shape and structure in the blocky expanses of big cites. When viewed from above or up high, these towering structures take on a whole new appearance, presenting as abstract shapes or delicate layers. Throw some nice light into the mix and you’re really talking! 🤌

Daybreak in the Dolomites // changing hues and first light amongst some of Europe‘s most distinctive peaks. I spent an early morning wandering around here and enjoying the light show before heading back to the car for breakfast. The best way to start a day! 🤙

Crystal clear waters and towering peaks - it was nice to spend some time in Slovenia a little while back. It was a refreshing change from the Dolomites and we discovered many hidden gems along the way. The Soča valley in particular was stunning!
