There is just something special about watching the night sky come alive over the neighborhood.

This morning’s Falcon 9 launch of the Starlink 10-24 mission was one of those moments that makes living on the Space Coast feel a little surreal. Seeing that arc rise over the houses and under the stars never gets old.

Cold winter light turned Driftwood Beach into soft silvers and steel blues. The driftwood felt like ocean-sculptures, weathered, twisted, reaching for the sky.

Snow flurries drifted in, the beach stayed quiet, and everything slowed down. This has been a bucket-list spot for me, and it felt like an adventure getting it in this kind of weather — bundled up, camera in hand, soaking in the stillness. A reminder that even what looks broken can be beautiful when the light hits it just right.

🚀 SpaceX Doubleheader on the Space Coast

A pair of beautiful Florida streak shots from tonight’s SpaceX launches: Starlink 6-85 and Starlink 6-89, both heading to low Earth orbit and carving nearly matching paths across the sky. One lifted off from LC-39A at 10:08 pm, the other from SLC-40 at 1:44 am, creating the opportunity for a dual-arc long exposure from the same vantage point.

Love capturing the rhythm of launches right from the neighborhood — it never gets old on the Space Coast. 🌴🌌🚀

✨ Blue Origin’s New Glenn • ESCAPADE Mission • 11/13 ✨

Witnessed history today as Blue Origin’s New Glenn lifted off from Cape Canaveral—its first interplanetary mission, sending NASA’s ESCAPADE twin spacecraft on their journey to study the magnetic environment around Mars.

Here’s to new beginnings, new data, and New Glenn heading toward the Red Planet.

Day 3 and this one had my creative wheels turning…
We focused on “art with the artist”—pairing murals and public art with human elements to tell a story. 🎨📸

This challenge pushed me to think more intentionally about composition, contrast, and context. Downtown Melbourne has such a cool mix of creative spaces—so it was fun finding fresh ways to frame them.

What a great time at the Poor Billy’s Photo Walk yesterday! 📸 It’s always a blast connecting with fellow creatives who share the same passion for photography. Huge thanks to Billy & Andy for organizing such a thoughtful route through downtown Melbourne—spotlighting places we pass every day, but rarely pause to truly see.

Each stop challenged us in new ways—focusing on elements like signage, leading lines, contrast, and even blending art with the artist. It was the perfect mix of inspiration, creativity, and just being present behind the lens.
