Fremont Street | Las Vegas — Alter Ego LV

Thursday, May 14, I headed downtown with my camera hoping to capture the energy of Fremont Street at night — the lights, the crowds, the performers, the music and the unpredictability of it all.

While walking beneath the Fremont Street Experience canopy, I came across Alter Ego LV performing live and spent part of the evening photographing their set. Between the stage lights, the casino glow, the giant LED canopy and the energy of the band, it was exactly the kind of downtown Las Vegas experience I had hoped to find.

Very grateful to share that my image was selected as the 1st Place Winner in Unique Photo’s Creators Challenge for the “Breaking Into Commercial Content” workshop with Brooke Gorsica.

The creative direction for the shoot was “Softly Unfinished,” and I wanted the final image to feel quiet, intentional, and editorial — a balance of softness, texture, and presence.

Huge thank you to Unique Photo Nanlite USA Canon USA and everyone involved in creating such a strong learning environment.
